Ultraformer MPT is a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) device available at Facial Harmony Skin & Dental in Box Hill.
Treatment uses focused ultrasound energy delivered at selected depths, with treatment parameters chosen according to the area being treated and individual assessment.
What is Ultraformer MPT?
Ultraformer MPT is a non-surgical treatment that uses focused ultrasound energy. Treatment does not involve needles or surgical incisions.
Whether Ultraformer MPT is appropriate for you depends on your individual circumstances, the area being considered for treatment and your clinical assessment.
Not every concern or individual will be suitable for the same treatment approach.
How Treatment Is Planned
Different cartridge depths can be selected depending on the treatment area and individual assessment.
Before treatment, your practitioner will assess the area, discuss your concerns and relevant health and treatment history, and consider whether Ultraformer MPT may be appropriate for you.
Treatment settings and areas are determined following assessment rather than using the same treatment plan for everyone.
What to expect
Treatment sessions generally take approximately 30 to 90 minutes at our clinic, depending on the area being treated.
During your consultation, your practitioner will explain what the treatment involves and what you may experience during and after treatment.
Individual experiences vary.
After Treatment
Temporary effects such as redness, swelling, warmth or tenderness may occur following treatment.
Other risks and side effects may also occur depending on the treatment area and individual circumstances.
Before proceeding, your practitioner will discuss relevant risks, precautions, expected recovery and aftercare with you.
When Will I Notice Changes?
Individual responses to treatment vary.
Your practitioner will discuss what may reasonably be expected in your circumstances, including the limitations of treatment. The number of sessions and treatment intervals, where applicable, will depend on individual assessment and response.
A particular cosmetic outcome cannot be guaranteed.
