Rejuran® (Polynucleotide Treatment)
REJURAN® is a polynucleotide-based injectable medical device administered into the skin. In Australia, REJURAN® is included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as a Class III medical device. It contains highly purified polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA and is administered into the dermis. Its intended purpose is to support dermal tissue restoration and reconstruction and to improve the physical appearance of the treated area.

What is Rejuran®?
REJURAN® is used as part of an assessment-led approach to skin treatment. Its suitability depends on your skin, medical history, treatment area, concerns and the specific REJURAN® formulation being considered.
Treatment may be considered where a person is seeking improvement in the physical appearance and quality of the treated skin. Responses and outcomes vary between individuals, and assessment is required before treatment to determine whether REJURAN® is appropriate for you.
What to expect
REJURAN® is administered into the skin using a fine needle or cannula, depending on the treatment area and clinical assessment. The number of sessions and treatment intervals are also determined at assessment and may vary depending on the REJURAN® formulation used.
Risks and recovery
Temporary effects following treatment can include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and small raised areas at the injection sites. As with any injectable procedure, there are other potential risks and complications. These are discussed with you as part of the consultation and consent process before treatment. Recovery varies between individuals and according to the area and treatment performed.
